Some failures come through our door every single week. Caught early, they’re a lifter job. Ignored, they’re a full engine. If any of these sound familiar, get it looked at now.
AFM / DOD Lifter Failure
A ticking noise, a misfire code, or a check engine light on your GM V8 is often a collapsed AFM lifter — one of the most common failures we repair. We can replace the lifters, or delete AFM entirely with a cam package and tune so it never comes back.
The Hemi Tick
That tick from your 5.7 or 6.4 can mean a failing lifter roller — and once it starts eating the camshaft, the repair bill climbs fast. We handle complete cam and lifter replacement, and can upgrade the cam while the engine is already open.
Cam Swap Packages
A cam swap is still the best power-per-dollar upgrade on GM LS/LT and Dodge Hemi platforms. We spec the cam for your goals, install it, break it in properly, and tune it in-house so it runs right from day one.
Service Intervals for Modified Engines
Boosted and modified engines don’t live on factory maintenance schedules. We build service intervals around how you actually drive — oil changes, plugs, and inspections timed for turbocharged EcoBoosts, hard-driven Subarus, and cammed V8s.
